I watched EP 1 again a couple of weeks ago since it was released and was shocked by how bad it was. All I could think of was 'Roger Corman rip off' - not a real SW movie. It really is terrible. EP II wasn't much of an improvement but it was better. I'm really holding out hope that Lucas is gonna go out with a bang. This is his last chance to redeem the franchise. I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. [img]graemlins/hmmm.gif[/img]
I was never a HUGE StarWars fan, but I've enjoyed seeing them!
I'll wait for it to come out on video, as usual!
i think it will suck less than ep 1 and ep 2, but i really have no expectations from it at all. i think im at the point where im watching it just to make sure its all over for good.

well 1 and 2 were no where near as good as the originals but i am really hoping this one is good

A BIG part of what made those so good was just
plain cast chemistry. Episode II's storyline is
really not that bad at all in the context from which it's taken. But you can't take away from the fact that Hamill, Ford, and Fisher just played really well off of each other. That kind of chemistry in a cast is rare.

I'll probably just rent it when I can....the movie, I mean.
I'll probably go see it on opening day since I saw the previous two on opening day. I'm not overly excited about seeing it yet but I will be as we get closer to May.
Not really excited, but I am looking forward to it. I am not much of a fan of Ep. 1 & 2, but I think this one will be better than those. How much better remains to be seen. There will still be way too much CGI, and that Hayden fuck playing Vader is just so wrong, but yeah, I am looking foward to it. lol
